Meet Daniel Mc Gonigle

Postgraduate Taught Officer

Hey, everyone! I’m Daniel McGonigle, your Postgraduate Taught Officer for 2024-25. I’m a 3rd-year PhD candidate in Physiology and the President of the Postgraduate Society. I’ve served as a class rep at three universities—Sligo, Strathclyde, and Galway—and currently advocate for postgrad rights across the University. I understand the challenges we face, from visa struggles to balancing research and finances. My aim is to create a supportive, thriving community for all postgrads. I’m always here to listen and help—let’s make this year a great one together!.
