Entertaining students is what we do. You will be able to enjoy the best of Galway’s DJ on a regular basis and lots of big name bands. We also cater for student DJ’s and bands to help give them the break they need. Our biggest and most memorable parties generally happen after the faculty balls, after exams, before holidays and at class parties.

From September to April, we offer the best views of all the action including Champions League, Premiership, FA Cup, Magners and Heineken Cup, Internationals and 6 Nations qualifiers and every other minute of sport on offer. And when we say we have the best view, we mean two big screens visible from every part of the bar along with 2 plasma screens behind the bar and a sound system to further increase the atmosphere and tension.

We love to host class parties, after all where better way to party with your College mates than in Sult! We’ll look after entertainment, a bit of grub and a complimentary drink, call to Reception to book your party!

Sult has long been famed for its top quality food and many past and present students will quote the bar as having the best food on campus – tasty, wholesome and with generous portions.

Carvery dinners will offer three or four daily choices with a vegetarian option too. The newly renovated sandwich bar offers freshly made sandwiches, wraps, baps, subs, pizzas, pastries and the Sult’s famous homemade scones and muffins. There is also homemade soup of the days, hot option of the day, confectionery and a wide variety of speciality teas and coffees.
