What is YouthBank?
YouthBank is an international youth-led programme where young people make real funding decisions that benefit their communities.
Working as a team, you’ll research student needs, manage a €5,000 grant fund and decide which student-led projects received funding.

Who can apply?
- Registered University of Galway students.
- Under 27 years of age
- No previous experience required
Commitment
- Weekly sessions during term time
- Online and in-person training
- Full-day in-person workshop Sat 10 October 2026
- Note: this is an unpaid volunteering opportunity
