If you are seeking a bit of extra cash and would like to play around with some metaphors feel free to apply for this job. Native English speakers who are studying English at NUI Galway needed to help as human annotators. This task will focus on how we define and interpret metaphors in tweets. The experiment will be asking the annotator how to interpret/define a given metaphoric expression by giving them a tweet and asking them to choose the nearest definition of the highlighted metaphor from a list. Payment is based on the number of annotated tweets. To apply email omnia.zayed@insight-centre.org with a brief description of your professional experience.
