This project will work with young people in Galway to encourage group participation in extracurricular activities.
This project aims to collaborate with a local youth mental health organisation to run a variety of tailored activities to promote group participation for young people in their local community. There will be a particular emphasis on fun physical activity and group activities as an adjunct to the work the young people are already doing via mental health services.

Project Updates
[accordion] [accordion_item title=’Update 1 – March 2016′]
Last week the Roots Team met up in the small music room with a group of first years from Creative Writing – they never played music together but managed to orchestrate and play Coldplay’s ‘Fix You’ in the session. This Friday we are joined by retired Professor Martin Newell and his friends to join in and play along as a retired group.
