Comhairle Notes
That ‘class representative training’ both online and in-person, designed by the Executive Committee, has been a massive success this year. Class representatives from all years had to complete training before they could receive their custom jumpers.
Comhairle Further Notes
That, despite class representative training being rightfully mandatory for all class representatives, the training was formulated by the Executive Committee entirely, some of whom may not have as much experience being class reps before their term in office.
Comhairle Believes
Some returning class representatives have been engaged in their role for a number of years, and have a lot of experience being part of the Student’s Union, engaging well on behalf of their class and organising campaigns. Their experience, in addition to that of the Executive, would be very fruitful in creating the best class representative training possible to help new or inexperienced reps to learn.
Comhairle Mandates
The Executive Committee to involve returning and experienced class representatives in the process of developing class representative training.
