Council Notes
That under Article 7(H) of the Students’ Union Constitution, all Executive Officers are required to present a work plan for the year ahead, outlining their priorities and goals for each semester.
Council Further Notes
That these work plans are not currently made publicly available, limiting transparency and preventing class representatives and students from understanding what each Officer intends to achieve during their term.
Council Believes
That making these work plans accessible online would improve accountability, allow students to track progress, and strengthen engagement with SU priorities.
Council Mandates
That the President ensure all approved Executive Officer work plans, as required under Article 7(H), are published electronically and made available to class representatives and the wider student body within two weeks of their approval.
Article 7 (H),“ All members of the Executive Committee shall be required to present a work plan for the year ahead to the Executive for approval before week two of the first semester.
This work plan shall be reviewed and, if necessary, updated before the start of the
second semester and again at the end of the second semester and at any other time
that the Executive Committee deems appropriate.”.
