Historically, due to the fact that we followed a mandated vote for Comhdháil AMLÉ, the selection process for delegates for USI/AMLÉ Comhdháil was not strict or refined as a process. Comhairle Recognises: Better representation of the student body is needed for our delegation to cast a fair vote.
Therefore, Comhairle Mandates
A rigorous selection process be adopted for the selection of delegates for Comhdháil. As chief spokesperson of the Union, the Uachtarán shall be in charge of managing the selection process. The Uachtarán should consider but not be limited to the following factors;
• Attendance at USI/AMLÉ events
• Engagement with Comhaltas na Mac Léinn, Ollscoil na Gaillimhe
• Reasoning for attendance at Comhdháil
