Christmas Holiday Arrangements 2021
NUI Galway semester 1 teaching and exams ends on Fri 17th Dec 2021.
Semester 2 Teaching starts on Mon 10th of Jan 2022.

- The Students’ Union Office will close 5pm Tues 21st Dec and reopen 10am Fri 7th Jan.
- Sult will close on Fri 17th Dec and will reopen on Weds 5th Jan.
- The SU Shop will close at 4pm on Tues 21st Dec and reopen on Weds 5th Jan.
- Smokey’s Café will close at 4pm Fri 17th Dec and reopen Mon 10th Jan.
- The James Hardiman Library will be closing at 5.30pm on Weds 22nd Dec and reopening at 8.30am on Weds 5th Jan.
- The Reading Room will be open 9am-5pm Thurs 23rd Dec and Fri 24th Dec, Mon 27th Dec to Fri 31st Dec and Sun 2nd Jan to Tues 4th Jan.
- The Library & IT Service Desk will close at 5.30pm Weds 22nd Dec and re-open at 8:30am Weds 5th Jan
- PC Suites will also be closed during this period and re-open at 9am on Weds 5th Jan for scheduled classes only
- The Student Health Unit will close on Tues 21st Dec and will reopen Thurs 6th Jan. For urgent/emergency medical issues during this time please go to their website for services which are available – please note there is a charge for these services.
- Sin Newspaper will be back with a new issue on Tues 25th of Jan.
- Flirt FM will close at on Fri 17th Dec and will reopen Mon 17th Jan. Their Webstream will run from 19th Dec.
- The Socs Box will close on Fri 17th Dec and will reopen on Tues 5th Jan
- The Career Development Centre will close on Tues 21st Dec and will reopen Tues 5th Jan.
