…extra-curricular activities (well, almost!)
What else is there to do in NUI Galway and the city other than studying?
Loads! Firstly, you’ve got the clubs, societies  and Alive Volunteering. We can’t stress enough how important it is to get involved! There are also regular plays in the Bank of Ireland Theatre, regular exhibitions on varying topics in the library. Few people seem to know it, but there’s an art gallery in the Quad. Outside of college, there are bars, clubs, cinema, bowling, the weekend market, the museum, festivals, the aquarium and the beach!
