T-Fund Applications Close tomorrow Fri 4th April
The T-Fund is a social transition fund. Applications are open here onYourSpace until Fri 4th April. Please note this fund can only be used for items involved in social transitioning, not medical supplies.
Election Results
Thanks to everyone who voted in our Elections last week and well done to all the candidates and their teams. Election results are available HERE. Your new SU Officers will take office from the 1st of July until then your current SU Officers are here to help you if you need anything!
Extra Study Space
Extra individual and group study spaces will be opening on campus from tomorrow Fri 4th April until the end of the exams. More info HERE at Exams 101 where you can also find Exam FAQ’s, supports, workshops and more. There’s also more exam tips and advice HERE or just give us a shout.
Student Achievement Awards Ireland – Nomination Deadline tomorrow
Do you know a student or student rep that has made an exceptional contribution to students or society this year? Nominate them for a SAAI Award! Nominations close 5pm Fri 4th April. More info HERE.

- Bikes can be donated to An Mheitheal Rothar
- Household items can be donated at the Glassary collections in student accommodation.
Free Breakfast
- Get free porridge with any hot drink purchased using your SU Card at Sult every weekday morning while stocks last
- 8am-9pm weekdays call in to the Hub downstairs in Áras na Mac Léinn for free cereal, toast, tea/coffee until Fri 9th May
safeTALK Training in June
safeTALK is a free 3½ hour ‘suicide alertness’ programme that prepares participants to identify and engage with persons who may be having thoughts of suicide. It takes place 9am-1pm Thurs 19th June on campus. More info + sign up detailsHERE.

Support Renters, Support a Deposit Protection Scheme
A Deposit Protection Scheme (DPS) would mean deposits are lodged with an independent third party ensuring their prompt return at the end of a tenancy unless a bona fide issue arises. Sign the petition HERE to introduce a DPS.
Final Call to submit responses regarding your caffeine consumption!

Parkrun this Saturday (and every Saturday!)
University of Galway Parkrun takes place every Saturday at 9:30am. It’s a free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – more info HERE.
Glassary Circular Economy Initiative
At the end of term in student accommodation Glassary gives household items a second life! Volunteers get involved in the sorting party and help donate items to local Galway charities. Apply here to take part Weds 7 May, Thurs 8 May, Fri 9 May or Sat 10 May.
An Evening in Politics: Conversations with Galway Politicians, Public Representatives and Politics Students
This free event 6pm tonight Thurs 3rd April is open to all students with an interest in politics, government, and public service and promises lively discussions and valuable networking opportunities. Finger food and drinks will be provided!Please register at this link
The Burden of Borrowing: Unveiling the Link Between Financial Stress and Credit Behaviour.
This study aims to explore how financial stress influences borrowing behaviour among college students in Ireland. The short survey HERE is completely anonymous and aims to contribute to a better understanding of student financial well-being.
