Meet L. Saige Alloway

Mature Students' Officer

I am a third year PhD Student in botany and plant science. I completed my MSc in Coastal and Marine Environments: Physical Processes, Policy & Practice at University of Galway in 2021. My research focused on ecological habitat assessments. My undergraduate degrees were completed in the USA. This entails my BSc in Parks, Recreation and Tourism in 2020, which was focused on natural resource management, and my ASc in Environmental Science in 2017, with a focus on forestry and wildland fire science. As part of the BlueC project, my PhD research focuses on ‘Carbon stocks, dynamics, and processes in Irish seagrass’.
