We are hiring: Sin Editor

Sin is a student news outlet operated by the University of Galway Students’ Union. It includes a mix of
campus news, features, sport and reviews.


The Editor will be responsible for recruiting a team of volunteer student writers to contribute relevant
content for Sin.ie.


The Sin Editor will be a self-starter with experience of working well with others.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, direct and motivate a team of volunteer writers.
  • Overall responsibility for sourcing content, including content as Gaeilge.
  • Maintain a high standard of writing in all Sin content.
  • Update Sin.ie website and social media platforms daily (Monday – Friday) with news, features
    etc
  • Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.


Remuneration
20 hours per week at €15.40 per hour
14 weeks per semester
