Nominations are now open to fill the vacant SU Officer position of the Convenor of the College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences. The position is part time, unpaid, voluntary role. Only students registered under the College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences are eligible to vote for this position. The role will run from Friday 6th February 2026 until 30th of June 2026.

Officers are expected to attend a weekly SU Executive committee meeting, help out at events/campaigns, attend monthly Comhairle Chomhaltas na Mac Léinn meetings and training as required. The Convenor of Medicine, Nursing and Health Science will also attend their College Class Rep Council meetings.

Here’s more information about the duties of the Convenor of Medicine, Nursing and Health Science and only registered students of the College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Science may vote in this election.
- Shall act as Chairperson for their College Class Representatives Council meetings.
- Shall represent their Colleges Class Reps and students on the Executive Committee.
- Shall work with the SU Council Chairperson to make sure every class has a Class Representative.
