Council Notes
There is a general interest in the student body about motions being put forward at council that garner both passion and concern amongst representatives (see: Environmental Society’s motion at last Comhairle 23/24 re: vegan and vegetarian food or the Opposing fascism, Far-Right Extremism, and all Forms of Discrimination motion from 31/3/21 Comhairle)
Council Also Notes
Many representatives may be logged out of their emails for the weekend or alternatively do not look at emails at all, therefore when they go to Comhairle they do not know the schedule of Comhairle or the motions that have been put forward for debate
Council Mandates
That all future motions should be advertised on social media on either the Friday before or the Monday of Comhairle so representatives also know what is coming up.
