The Ethnic Minorities Officer represents students of ethnic minority on campus. They represent union members on various committees, provide support to students of ethnic minority and liaise with relevant societies. They organise relevant events and campaigns to highlight and address cultural diversity and to promote the cultural integration of students across campus.

Hello! My name is Vanessa Frimpong, and I am the Ethnic Minorities Officer studying Biomedical Science. I am excited to be part of the Students’ Union this year and to work with the other officers and University to bring changes, organise events and raise issues. As your EMO, it will be my job to promote anti-racism on campus and ensure ethnic minority rights are enforced and to enforce decrees in relation to racial justice.
