NUI Galway Christmas Exams 2015

The Christmas Exams will take place from Monday 7th December to Friday 18th December inclusive. Exam Timetables are available online – please check your timetable very carefully to make sure that all of your subjects are there and that there are no clashes. 

We have partnered with City Direct Bus Company to provide buses to the two exam venues in Salthill at Leisureland and the Galway Bay Hotel. This service will run twice a day during the exams and costs €2 per journey – see timetable below. Buses will leave University Road at 08:40 & 15:40 for Salthill. Buses will leave Leisureland in Salthill at 11:40 & 18:40 to return to University Road via Eyre Square.

In addition to the study space in the Library and the Reading Room there will be extra study spaces made available from Sunday the 29th of November onwards 8am-10pm in these locations.

NUI Galway Students’ Union presents the Ultimate Study Break:

A Big Fat Charity Cake Sale AND Wooly Ward’s Petting Farm Visit 

11am-3pm Wednesday 2nd December 2015 in Áras na Mac Léinn (Petting farm 12pm-2pm outside Áras na Mac Léinn)

There will be rabbits, gerbils, guinea pigs, hamsters, chicks, hens, turkeys, geese, ducks, sheep, goats and Kuzco the Llama along with plenty of CAKE, tea, coffee, a massive raffle and tunes from Flirt FM!

We will have FREE Tea or Coffee for the first 100 people to buy some cake kindly sponsored by the College Bar. 

Pepsi will also be there on the day giving away FREE bottles of Pepsi Max Cherry! 

All funds raised go to Galway Rape Crisis Centre and the Irish Cancer Society
